Privacy Policy
Effective July 24, 2026 · Last updated July 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Tezio collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you visit tezio.tech or use the Service. It is intended to provide a practical notice for users in multiple regions. Rights and obligations may vary depending on where you live.
1. Who is responsible and how to contact us
Tezio is responsible for personal information processed through tezio.tech. For privacy, deletion, billing or support requests, email support@tezio.tech.
2. Information we collect
- Workspace and account information: email address, account identifier, password hash, email-verification status and session information.
- User content: recordings, transcripts, protocols, tasks, project information, prompts, edits and files you choose to provide.
- Purchase information: selected package, order and invoice references, amount, currency, payment status and limited blockchain transaction details received from the hosted checkout provider. Tezio does not receive private wallet keys.
- Technical and usage information: IP address, device and browser type, timestamps, pages and features used, diagnostic logs, cookie choices and security events.
- Communications: messages and attachments you send to support, including information needed to investigate a payment or processing issue.
3. How we use information
- provide the workspace, process recordings and generate transcripts, protocols and tasks;
- credit purchased minutes, confirm transactions and provide customer support;
- authenticate sessions, prevent abuse, protect the Service and investigate incidents;
- maintain, troubleshoot and improve performance and usability;
- send essential service communications and respond to requests;
- meet legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Tezio does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not use meeting content for unrelated advertising.
4. Legal bases where applicable
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, Tezio relies on:
- contract: to provide the Service, workspace, purchases and requested processing;
- consent: for optional analytics cookies and any other processing clearly identified as consent-based;
- legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, troubleshoot and improve the Service, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights;
- legal obligation: to retain or disclose limited information when required by applicable law.
You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal. Optional analytics can be changed through Cookie settings.
5. Recordings and generated results
Source recordings are stored temporarily while processing is in progress. After the transcript and protocol have been successfully saved, the source recording is deleted. If processing fails, the source may be kept briefly for a retry. Temporary source objects are subject to an automatic seven-day expiration limit.
Transcripts, protocols, tasks, workspace balance and related metadata are retained so that results remain available in your account workspace. If you want these results deleted, contact support. Do not upload personal or sensitive information unless it is necessary and you have a lawful right to do so.
6. Cookies and analytics
Necessary cookies keep you signed in, protect sessions and support core functions. They are used because they are necessary to provide the Service.
Optional analytics measure product usage so we can improve Tezio. They are disabled until you choose “Accept all”. You can withdraw that choice at any time through Cookie settings without losing access to core features. Session recording is disabled.
7. Service providers and disclosures
We disclose information only as reasonably necessary to providers supporting cloud infrastructure, temporary object storage, speech and AI processing, product analytics, email, security and hosted cryptocurrency checkout. Providers may process information only for contracted services and are expected to apply appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
We may also disclose information if required by valid legal process, to protect users or the Service, to investigate fraud or abuse, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition or asset transfer subject to appropriate notice and safeguards.
8. International processing
Tezio and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use contractual protections or another recognised transfer mechanism and assess reasonable technical and organisational safeguards.
9. Retention
- Source recordings: until successful processing and deletion, or briefly for retry after a failure, with a seven-day automatic expiration limit.
- Generated results and workspace records: while needed to provide the workspace, until deletion is requested, or until the workspace is retired under a published retention schedule.
- Purchase and transaction records: as needed for support, fraud prevention, accounting and applicable legal obligations.
- Security and diagnostic logs: only as long as reasonably needed for troubleshooting, security and abuse prevention.
- Support communications: while needed to resolve the request and maintain a reasonable support history.
We may retain limited information longer if required by law, necessary to resolve a dispute, or needed to protect the Service. When retention is no longer necessary, we delete or de-identify the information.
10. Security
We use measures designed to protect information, including encrypted transport, restricted access, private storage, short-lived media links, session protections, monitoring and data minimisation. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Please contact support promptly if you believe your workspace or data is at risk.
If a security incident creates a notification duty, Tezio will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- know whether and why we process your information and obtain a copy;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request deletion or restriction of processing;
- receive portable information in a commonly used format;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing;
- withdraw consent at any time;
- opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising, although Tezio does neither;
- appeal a refusal where applicable and complain to a competent privacy authority;
- receive equal service and pricing when exercising applicable privacy rights.
Tezio does not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Generated meeting outputs are tools for human review.
12. How to exercise your rights
Email support@tezio.tech and describe the request and the account, workspace or transaction concerned. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify that you control the account or transaction.
We will respond without undue delay and generally within one month, or within a shorter period if applicable law requires it. If more time is lawfully needed, we will explain why. You may use an authorised agent where applicable, subject to reasonable verification.
13. Children
Tezio is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact support so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
14. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Browsers may offer “Do Not Track” signals for which there is no uniform response standard. Because Tezio does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, there is no sale or advertising-sharing activity to opt out of. Where a legally recognised opt-out signal applies to another optional activity, we will honour it as required.
15. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Service, providers or legal requirements. The current version and effective date will remain available here. Material changes will be communicated through the Service where reasonably possible.
